According to Reuters, state-owned National Aluminum Corporation of India has issued a tender to export 30,000 tons of alumina for delivery this month.
The last date for the submission of a tender by an official of the company was March 9, 2011.
The National Aluminum Corporation of India, whose bid serves as an international benchmark, sold 30,000 tons of alumina to Hong Kong-based Noble Resources Co., Ltd. at a price of US$371.88 per ton last December.
