Bell & Gossett Introduces New 3DV Triple Valves Featuring All Three Valves Required for Small Pump Balancing Systems. Thanks to the three valves, the new valve saves material costs and saves installation time to the maximum. The new three-way valve includes a calibrated counterbalance valve, a spring-loaded check valve and a shut-off valve. The calibration balance valve optimizes system operation efficiency, wide control range and precise flow. Spring loaded check valves prevent gravity circulation and backflow in the system, especially zoned pumping, parallel and stand-by pumping, and condensate application. The shut-off valve includes a calibrated nameplate and memory pushbutton so that the entire valve can be returned to its original equilibrium position after being shut off. Other features of the 3DV three-way valve include: * Three-in-one valve, counterbalance valve, shut-off valve and check valve. * Cv rating of 9-28, is ideal for a variety of applications. * Diverse sizes: 1 inch, 1 1/4 inch, 1 1/2 inch, and 2 inches. * MNPT thread or rotary flange inlet connection. The valve offers the lowest pressure drop compared to other similar valves. The three-way valve complies with ASHRAE 90.1 energy efficiency operating requirements and meets the National Energy Building Code standards. 3DV triple valve products have a standard straight flange design, solid material casting, suitable for harsh operating pressure and high temperature, long service life.
