Attack large diameter screw holes on a lathe

When the large-diameter screw hole with high precision is required on the lathe, if the tailstock support tap tapping is used, the taper shank on the tailstock will rotate with the workpiece due to too much torque, or the tap will be broken due to overload. The floating of the tap leads to a decrease in the accuracy of the screw hole and a poor positional accuracy. The above disadvantages can be overcome by the method shown.
