Overview of GPS/GPRS-based Vehicle Remote Service System Application

With the development of the automotive industry, modern electronic control technology has penetrated into various components of automobiles, the structure of automobiles has become more and more complex, and the degree of automation has become higher and higher. It can track and master the high-tech maintenance technicians in the automotive field. Experts are also bound to be increasingly lacking. The vehicle remote service system is based on advanced GPS global positioning technology and GPRS remote communication technology. It integrates automotive electronic control technology, automotive diagnostic technology and remote communication technology to develop new high-tech products, as shown in Figure 1. It can closely connect automobile manufacturers, dealers, fleet service centers, vehicles and users into a network, which can easily achieve various public information and practical information services such as data transmission, target tracking, automatic alarm and occupants. The function not only provides customers with timely maintenance services for vehicles, but also can promote their services to various business areas such as finance, leasing, insurance, remanufacturing, logistics and management through this network, and expand the business services of the manufacturers. The field can also create rich economic benefits for manufacturers.
