1. Repair of partial open welding of cage and end ring welds

Such failures often occur when the load is heavy or with an impact load, especially where the weld is a poorly welded process of phosphor bronze brazing. Before repair welding, the weld quality should be thoroughly checked. To prevent leakage welding. The repair practice shows that the simple repair welding effect is not good, and the welding process is adopted for this purpose.

Second, the repair of a small number of cage broken faults

The shape of the cross-sectional area of ​​the copper cage bar is circular, and the breaking point is always near the welding of the end ring and the cage. When repairing such a fault, the longer section of the broken cage and the end ring weld cross section shall be heated, and the longer cage strip shall be driven by a hot hammer, and then the short section of the cage shall be heated. The part welded to the end ring is also hot and the short section is shot.

Third, the repair of a large number of cage breaks

Repairing such failures is usually done in two ways. One is to use the original end ring and part of the complete cage to update some of the new cages; the other way is to replace them all. Regardless of which method is used, the end ring and the cage strip are removed from the rotor. To do this, record in advance and then set up a special tool for the end ring.

Fourth, the repair process of the cage and the end ring are all updated (take the double squirrel cage rotor repair as an example)

(1) Tools and materials preparation: Prepare oxygen-acetylene torch, acetylene and oxygen, welding rod, flux (borax or anhydrous borax), rotor bracket, wooden hammer or copper hammer, sledgehammer, fine trowel, brush , copper brushes, abrasive cloth, rags and other labor protection products.

(2) Inspection work before welding: First check whether the new cage and end rings meet the requirements. The cage diameter, length, material and machining accuracy should meet the technical requirements of the drawings. The tightness of the cage rod diameter and the iron groove should be appropriate.

(3) Pickling method of new copper parts: After the new cage strips and end rings (collectively referred to as copper parts) have passed the inspection, in order to ensure the welding quality, impurities such as surface oil and scale are also removed, and acid is required for this purpose. Wash the work.

(4) Install the inner layer cage and the inner end ring: stabilize the rotor on the rotor bracket, and select the vertical welding or the horizontal welding method according to the state of the welding joint. For round double cage rotors. Vertical welding is generally used.

(5) Welding method: Check whether the gap of the copper strip in the end ring hole is correct, whether the guide bar is loose in the groove, and the welding is permitted only after passing the test.

After all welding, the quality of the weld is thoroughly checked. Finally, the static and dynamic balance test of the rotor is done according to the high and low motor speed. Generally, if the motor speed is 1000r/min or less, only static balance is required. If it is greater than 1000r/min, a dynamic balance test is required.
