Demand or Innovation in American Construction Machinery Tires in 2012

According to the figures disclosed by the Construction Machinery Tire Industry Association in 2012, this year, construction machinery tires in the United States are expected to catch up to or exceed the peak of shipments in 2007. If the construction of commercial housing recovers, there is a possibility that demand will further increase substantially. In contrast, US construction machinery tires accounted for 75% of shipments, but they accounted for only 30% of the value of construction machinery tires, so its demand outlook is weak because it is related to the housing construction industry to be revived. The recovery in demand for tires for the concrete industry will depend on the rebound in commercial real estate construction and the revival of road construction.
