The amount of each agent used has been obtained after many years of research and testing by experts. In addition to ensuring the effectiveness of the control object and the safety of the crop, economic factors are also considered. In other words, you can increase the dose, but the loss will not exceed the increased cost, it is not cost-effective. Moreover, increasing the dose may also cause phytotoxicity or increase environmental pollution, and even endanger the safety of agricultural products, the consequences may be very serious. Therefore, generally do not arbitrarily increase the amount of pesticides used. Of course, in areas where resistance is produced, it is necessary to increase the dose in order to ensure the control effect, but this cannot be said to be a common phenomenon.
There may be many reasons for the poor control effect, among which water is not willing to be one, and it is more common. The pesticide spray on water is essentially a place where the agent is evenly dispersed on the surface of the crop or where pests and diseases are concentrated. To be fully sprayed, the pests will not die by themselves. To achieve good dispersion, the amount of spray and the power of the sprayer, the working pressure, and the diameter of the sprayed droplets should match. Usually when using a backpack-type mister or a manual sprayer with a small-aperture spray, the droplets are small, and the spray volume per acre can be controlled within a low capacity range of 0.5 to 30 liters, often 5 to 10 liters. It can achieve good control effect. When using the Gongnong-16 type knapsack sprayer, due to the small pressure and large spray droplets, it is necessary to increase the spray pressure to increase the dispersion. Generally, it should reach 30-100 liters per mu. .
